No, Filterbaby is not compatible with rectangular or square aerators. Our system is designed exclusively for round aerators and cannot be adapted to work with non-circular shapes. However, most faucet aerators are circular and Filterbaby fits 98% of faucets with a round aerator tip.
How To Tell If Your Aerator Is Round
Look at your faucet tip. If you have a round circular piece at the tip where the water comes out, you have a round aerator. Some faucets that are shaped in a rectangular or square shape at the end still have round aerators, so be sure take a look at the underside of your faucet to confirm!
Why Round Aerators Only?
Our adaptor system is engineered for circular threading patterns. Rectangular and square aerators are snapped into place instead of being installed with standard plumbing threads—this design does not allow Filterbaby to securely attach to your faucet.
