No problem. If you’ve misplaced the included wrench, you can use a standard adjustable wrench to carefully loosen the lid.
To protect the finish, place a towel or cloth between the wrench and the filter before turning. Make sure the filter is dry, and turn the lid slowly using steady pressure. If the lid feels stuck, this is often due to mineral buildup and can usually be resolved with gentle force.
